About Real Good Foods Pizza
The Real Good Foods Pizza Company is a California based business that’s redefining the way you eat pizza.  With the Paleo/Keto movements in full force many folks are eager to try out new healthier takes on their favorite comfort foods.

Their Pizzas help you fit the needs of various dietary requirements as they are low carb and high in protein.  If you are following the Keto diet then it fits your macros breakdown for Paleo it depends if you are avoiding dairy or not.

Product and Ingredients:

Which ever diet you are following Real Good Foods make it easy for you by providing all of the nutrition facts and ingredients online so that you can figure out the best way to incorporate their meals into your diet.

What they sell are frozen pizzas where the primary difference is that the crust is made from a blend of chicken and parmesan.  The result is a low carb high protein treat that can fill the gaps of a low carb or keto lifestyle.

The pizzas are flash frozen and can be easily reheated in the microwave or oven, depending on your preference.

Real Good Foods Pizza has the following nutritional stats per 125 gram serving or one 5” pizza:
  • 4g Carbs
  • 25g Protein
  • 2g Sugars
  • all natural
  • Grain free
  • Hormone free
  • Contain no added sugar.
  • Made with non-GMO vegetables
They are available in 3 flavors: Pepperoni, 3 cheese, and supreme.  They also make a breakfast pizza with scrambled eggs, mozzarella and sausage.

While this is a great pizza substitute keep in mind that these portions are fairly small and are more of snack.  The personal pizzas have between 240-270 calories, depending on which flavor you choose.

Cost and Price Plan:

Because of the higher cost of shipping frozen the company has a minimum order of 2 cases which is 12 pizzas.

2 cases (12 pizzas) = $5.99 / pizza ($71.88 total)
3 cases (18 pizzas) = $4.99 / pizza ($89.97 total)
4 cases (24 pizzas) = $4.75 / pizza ($114 total)
5+ cases (30+ pizzas) = $4.50 / pizza

They also offer a loyalty program which give you a $5 gift card for every $100 you spend.

Customer Service:

The company offers free 2 day shipping on all orders and also offers a customer satisfaction guarantee.  If you are not happy with their product they will issue you a refund up to $69.99.  They will also provide you with a FedEx shipping label to send the remainder of the pizzas back to them.

If you have any questions or concerns you can reach someone by phone at (818) 299-4179 or email at ContactUs@RealGoodFoods.com.

Online Reviews/Complaints:

The reviews for the Pizzas are very positive across the net.  They have great feedback from many Keto Diet bloggers, on their facebook page, on their website, and in many low carb diet forums.

People seem to love the convenience and taste of these little pizzas, with the only complaints being the higher cost that people have grown accustom to paying for traditional pizzas.

Competitors and Alternatives:

There is a growing number of options available for low carb pizza crusts with Cauliflower crusts as a popular option.  There are also companies making crusts out of almond flour and a range of other alternative flours.  Some of these include Julian Bakery, Mikey’s, and Wellness Bakeries.

You can also search for recipes online and make your own healthy pizza and crust.

Where to Buy?

You can easily put in an order directly from their website or use their store locator tool to find a location near you.  Their pizza is available at many popular health and supplement stores such as GNC and the Vitamin Shoppe.

8 snack size pizza

The "8 snack size pizzas" consists of 2 groups of 4 small pizzas ( about the size of an english muffin) pushed together with a hole in the middle. It comes SHRINK WRAPPED which makes it hard to uncover. Finally had to use a carton cutter to get it out of the plastic. Following the package direction, I microwaved it for 45 sec. Didn't even warm it up. After several tries totaling 1.5 min. , got the cheese to melt. But when I started eating it, there were still cold places in the crust. Speaking of crusts, the crust was soft not crisp[; more like a soggy piece of bread than a crust. THE WORST MICROWAVABLE PIZZA PRODUCT I'VE EVER TRIED.

gross pizza

tried it last night and was just totally disgusted. Followed directions for oven EXACTLY...came out limp and rubbery. So I followed further directions and put it in a skillet on the stove for two minutes to "crisp" it up...didn't even begin to get crisp..still wet and rubbery. NEVER AGAIN!

Salt overload

Had the chicken enchiladas, really only 2 bites, because the salt was overwhelming. It tasted like crap. Enchiladas were about 2 inches long for a cost of almost $4.00. Not good for any kind of diet. The salt content alone is frozen death in a package. At least I know now.

The worst pizza ever tasted.

I bought the Three Cheese pizza. The liquid ran all over the baking pan, the crust was tasteless, and there was NO cheese flavor. How can such a product go to market?

mini supreme gluten free pizza

I cooked the pizza according to instructions on box and chose to cook directly on rack. It was burnt on top and the bottom was like greasy rubber. I did eat the burnt cheese and toppings, but the "crust" was not edible. The toppings have a nice flavor but I would not buy this again. People like myself that truly have gluten allergies need chefs to come up with a real gluten free crust that at least reassembles bread or pizza crust. I have had a few of your other gluten free products, the breakfast sandwiches are 100 x better than your pizza. Did I mention I am disappointed?

Realgood Cheese pizza (Doctored)

We usually buy Paul Newman 4 cheese pizza and we always doctor it to our taste (extra cheese, mushrooms, jalapenos, homemade pizza sauce, olives, onions and sometimes sliced zucchini).

Because of our type 2 diabetes issues we constantly look for the lowest carbs in all foods.

We tried your pizza today and it was absolutely delicious. We cooked it for 20 minutes. The only question I have is, How can I get the bottom crust to be more crisp. The crust was soft rather than crisp. I don't know if you have any suggestions.

Glad we found your brand, we will continue to investigate. Julia

Cauliflower Crust Pizza (Gluten Free).

Thank you for making such a great tasting pizza. My wife and I have cut out Gluten from our food intake. Which in turn, limits our choices. Your pizza is available at Walmart. Thank you. Do you offer coupons for your pizzas? Keep on keeping up the great work.
