Took my money and never sent product.
On February 19, 2019 funds were charged to my credit card for protein bars ordered during their BOGO campaign. 1 month later still no bars received so I contacted them and the response was due to the large response for BOGO, they were backlogged and it would take 6 to 8 weeks. Today I tried to get on their website to check the status of the order and the website is no longer able to be accessed. I know several others who have ordered the bars and are still waiting. Appears they have gone out of business.
The same thing happened to me and I placed my order January 25, 2019 and my card was charged that same day. Months later no bars received and I cannot contact them. I'm upset
OMG! ME TOO. We need to initiate a class action with Dale, what a loser!!!! I already called the BBB in Boca Raton FL. SO all of you should. Now it is not about the money but the hypocrisy and conniving behavior. Maybe the product had 2 grams of proteins instead of 22. A$$holes
I too am questioning the quality. My bank has launched an investigation. I hope this guy is found. Soooo dishonest.
I have been a long time customer of Dale's raw foods and since not receiving my latest order dated 1/31/19 I sent them an email, only to have it returned to sender. Then their number has been disconnected. I have since filed a claim with PayPal. Per a different reviewer's suggestion, I am going to try Aloha bars, which I can purchase at Target. Hopefully, they will be good. How incredibly sad that he chose the dishonest route...
Can you guys call BBB PLEASE. I plan to make then suffer the consequences. This is unacceptable

Ordered bars over 3 months ago. Have called several times and no one ever answers--just a machine saying to email. I did so three times and no one gets back to me. This was my first order and I am so disappointed with this company that I heard good things about. Of course I never received my order or a refund. I will be filing a claim with the BBB and other organizations to get my money back. What a scam!
They went bankrupt. Go through your credit card or paypal to get your money back

Contact your credit card company they will do a charge back and credit your bill.
Long time customer and then noticed they started getting greedy with the BOGOs and orders becoming delayed. I even referred friends to them. In Dec/Jan 2019 I decided enough was enough with my last 3 orders totaling over $250. I reached out to Marissa and was told the same as the rest, that the ingredients were taking a long time to get and to please be patient. The weeks went by and the orders kept getting back ordered. Meanwhile, my frustration grew as the emails wouldn't stop in my inbox with Dale's articles and promotions. I prepared a long summary of my issue, got all my receipts together and went to my bank and credit card co and requested refunds. I also went to the Florida Attorney General's Office and filed a complaint and notified Dale's. I finally got my full refunds with a note from Marissa thanking me for my patience and telling me "see, I told you we would refund your money". I believe it's only because I kept leaving voicemails, emails and filed the complaint. Out of curiosity I looked into the company today as they have gone quiet and found out they are now gone. I have recently switched to Papa Steve's and LOVING them. Prompt and free shipping, great product, and provides coupons and incentives. Too bad Dale. You were onto something.
I agree...was so frustrating to keep getting emails promotions for BOGO, etc. soliciting more business when they couldn’t even produce the orders for the customers who had already paid. Same situation with being told they were having trouble with ingredients and to please be patient. I reported to my cc but thanks for going the extra step to file a complaint with the FL Attorney General and thanks too for the recommendation of Papa Steve’s.
They answered my call three weeks ago. Liars said they were behind with shipment.

I love their bars and have been a long time customer, however I never rec my last order from Dec.
I spoke & emailed them, many times, last as of March 1, 2019, spoke to Marissa and was told the same story that had a delay getting the ingredients.
I am very upset and out a lot of money.
I will contact the credit card company to attempt to get a refund.
I'm pretty sure they closed up shop due to the problems they were having getting ingredients. All their social media is closed and their website, although up, doesn't allow ordering any longer. It's sad, this was the best raw food protein bar I've ever had. Does anyone have any suggestions for an alternate? Thanks.
We placed our order at the end of December. When we didnt recieve the bars I sent an email. They responded they were having some ingredient shipment issues but would be filling soon. Still no bars. Sent another email asking for refund. They responded they would refund our money but of course they were having many refund requests so they would get to it but would take some time. Never recieved refund or bars. The dishonesty of this company is sad. I see comments from people on here that were placing orders into January. I wonder how long they were stealing peoples money before they decided to call it quits?
We placed an order in February, can't believe they were still taking people's money! About to file ccard claim.
I’m very disappointed that Dales Raw Foods took advantage of me and many other loyal customers by taking our money knowing they were not going to fill the orders. Shame on you! I really did like their products....
In January I ordered $239.94 worth of product on their BOGO sale. I contacted them in early March and was told they were behind in orders and having trouble securing some raw materials. Today I tried to contact again and they're gone. Contacting my credit card company.

Just noticed the same. Ordered end of Dec and never got my order. What a horrible company. Hoping PayPal protection helps.
Same thing with me. I ordered in January. Was only supposed to be a 6-8 week delay on raw ingredients. Now it appears the company no longer exists. I filed a complaint with my cc co and BBB. How do we get our money back Dale, or did you just run off with it?
I have written a few comments below re: not recvg order and upset with their conduct but I’m starting a new post because I’m also really did rely on their protein bars to supplement my restricted diet.
So, I am not paleo but do have to be gluten and dairy free and am wondering if anyone may have a recommendation of a protein bar (that’s also not too chewy or hard) that could be an alternative to Dale’s?

Everyone has their own thing they are looking for in a bar.. the type of protein what kind of sweetener etc..for me it is what you stated ...gluten free because of celiac and dairy free also I prefer low sugar and no alcohol sugars. So I settled on aloha bars because they recently dropped the sugar content to 4 gr. They don’t have as much protein as dales but I am questioning if there was really that much protein in those bars anyway.

Yes, I loved these bars and have been ordering them for years. I thought it was strange when the Bogo sale seemed to become a permanent way of doing business along with selling other products. Yes, it was taking longer to get my orders, but it wasn’t until my order from January 2019 never arrived did I suspect a problem. It wasn’t until today when their phone was no longer working and I couldn’t access their website did I realize there was a more serious problem. Yes my credit card will refund my payment, but I am so disappointed.

Used to be a very loyal customer. Similar to other posts I ordered some 3 months ago and they no longer are returning emails. I have reached out to my credit card company to try to get my money back. Was apparently too good to be true!

Very true, I would have appreciated and been more forgiving if they simply communicated what happened. Just cancel my order I dont care. But the silence is just unacceptable.

I am afraid they have taken our money and ran! I placed two orders, one in January and one in February 2019. It almost came to 300$ so I have just now disputed my purchases with the credit card company. I think they closed their doors and stole our money. Big bummer because I have been a customer for years.

My first order was 9/2018 for some protein bars & powder. The powder was not very good but I thought the bars were good. I placed another order for more bars on 1/22/19 & never received them. I called and their VM box is full and they didn’t respond to my email message either?
Their website is still up but all their social media accounts have been deleted. Such a shame they couldn’t even communicate to their loyal customers what was going on.
In a similar pattern of reviews, placed order 1/2/2019 and still no bars. Initial emails answered, but no responses anymore. Yet they still keep emailing and pushing more bogo sales and product specials. Stay away from this company! Have to count on PayPal to get my money back.
I posted on March 27 about not receiving my bars after thirteen weeks. I am now following through with my credit card to receive my refund. The credit card is investing the situation.
I never got my 2 orders as well. I have tried calling many times voice mail full. I have tried emailing no response. I am calling my credit card company also today.
Let me know what PayPal says. I just reported it too.
Long time customer here. The product is great but delivery has always been slow. My most recent order from mid December 2018 was never delivered and the company isn't replying to emails anymore. Looks like they filed bankruptcy. They are still sending out email promotions so beware...

That makes me even more angry since they were still soliciting BOGO after filing for chapter 11. I have an order from December 27 and February 27 that I never received. I wondered if something was up but I have been ordering from them since 2012 so I decided to have faith in the company.
Placed a BOGO order on December 19, 2018. Thirteen weeks later I am still waiting for my order to be completed and shipped. I contacted the company in February 2019 and received immediate feedback regarding the delay. I have since followed up with two emails in March and have not heard back from either email. I have now sent a third email cancelling my order and requesting a full refund. They need to rethink their business plan and rethink how many BOGO orders they can realistically fill in an acceptable amount of time. Thirteen weeks is not acceptable. They have now lost a long time costumer.
Id recommend working with your creditor or paypal if you used them for the purchase. I believe they filed for bankruptcy in Jan.
Wow. Michelle your experience is the exact same as mine. I placed my order in mid December 2018, contacted them exactly a month later and received a quick response from a lady named Marissa who was very cordial and respectful. Fast forward a few months and it's almost April 2019 and my order has yet to be shipped. Honestly I figured it would be slow, with everyone taking advantage of the BOGO offer and with the winter weather, but I was honestly more concerned that I just got robbed online by a fake company. With that, I'm actually glad to hear that the company and the bars are real, but I'm still frustrated that if seems as if I literally might die before I get these bars. I'm only 26, but the processing is so slow that my statement may not be as farfetched as one might think.

Ive ordered in the past and loved the product. The BOGO deal is their thing and they run it all the time. So much so that I believe they couldnt handle the volume of orders. I ordered back on Dec 16th 2018 and still have not recieved my order or notification that its been shipped.(march 21st 2019) Ive had contact with Marissa who has been prompt and informative on the delay but its just simply unacceptable for an order to take 3 months to fulfill. And thats the bottom line, you could have the best product in the world but it means nothing if you cant deliver on your promises. Unfortunately I will not be buying in the future unless a major infrastructure update occurs
I ordered Dec 14 it is now March 25 never received the bars. Also asked for a refund two weeks ago and that didn’t happen either. I was also bewildered that they were still running BOGO and also saying if you ordered single bars you get them in a week. Really? Just make a freakin box with the singles and fill your orders
Ive lost all hope that Ill get a response at this point. Im currently dealing with paypal to get my money back. Such a mess. If they would just respond and admit they screwed up, id be more understanding.
Additionally, they have closed all their social media accounts (FB, Instagram, Twitter) as well as disabled their business as a "Google My Business" GMB. Now all the negative reviews through google are hidden. Damage control I suppose.

I looked for a few months for negative feedback concerning the company when I started noticing some changes. On their site only 5 star reviews are allowed but even other places there was nothing. Only when I search dalesraw foods going out of business did the paleoratings site come up. Then I saw all of you writing the same experience....so I felt a little less crazy. I did get a little irked when I saw he was blogging about juicing vs blending making sandwiches...salads...I thought ..why aren’t you making bars? This information he was trying to put out there has been around forever and the people drawn to his product were probably already aware of these ideas. We Just wanted the bars. I new it was over when he started selling other bars readily available at any grocery store or target
Yes! I thought it was weird/suspicious that he was blogging about generalized stuff and also selling other company's products.
I am still waiting for an order from January 10th. They used to always answer my emails. They haven't responded to my last dozen or so. I am starting to wonder what is going on. I have been a happy customer for years! Marissa used to email me too. I didn't even mind waiting the 2 months but this is ridiculous! I have contacted Paypal to resolve. If they just would have responded and maybe let me know which bars were in stock or something, I would not have had to resort to contacting Paypal.
I placed an order on 1/24/19. Have not received the product. They do not answer emails and do not allow phone messages. I had to contact PayPal to resolve this - terrible service. Would not recommend them

I have tried many protein bars but none as good as the ones from Dales Raw Foods. They are made to order with only the finest ingredients. No fillers or preservatives. I highly recommend all his products.
My husband lost a lot of muscle mass due to extended stay in the hospital....he needed protein and the bars were a life saver....plant based protein....we feel it really aided his recovery. We aren’t without these bars. Rich in nutrients too! The best!
