About Pepperplate
Pepperplate is a seamless digital cooking platform that syncs across almost any type of computer, smartphone, and tablet. The app, which was founded in 2010, has attracted a wide range of followers including restaurants, cooking schools, personal chefs, caterers, and serious home cooks.

How it Works:

Pepperplate allows people to develop and edit recipes that are imported from popular sites by pasting a URL and creating unlimited categories to organize their recipe library. The recipes can easily be shared by email, Facebook, and Twitter.

Once a recipe is chosen and has been scaled to suit a user's preference, the customer can choose the time of day (morning, mid-day, or evening), day, month, and the year the recipe will appear. When someone views the calendar, the app will show a list of recipes in the set order.

After a recipe is downloaded, Pepperplate does some basic categorization by food types to make it easier for people to shop. People can re-arrange the items and create their own aisle names. The recipes can also be scaled to a customer's preference.

While cooking, customers can set up multiple cooking timers and the Cook Mode prevents the screen from dimming on their device.

Cost:

Pepperplate is free to download.

Customer Service:

Customers who experience technical issues can contact Pepperplate at support@pepperplate.com. People can offer suggestions to feedback@pepperplate.com.

Online Customer Reviews/Complaints:

Pepperplate has a high rating among users. Most people find the recipe transfer simple and the menu-planning easy.

Many users mentioned they had problems syncing their devices and experienced glitches like the app closing or not being able to open the app.

Competitors and Alternatives:

There are many apps that help people organize recipes including Paprika, Plan to Eat, and ChefTap.

Where to Buy?

People can download the Pepperplate on iPad, iPhone, Android phones, tablets, Kindle Fire, and NOOK.

Loved it but now??

An uodate on your review of Peppereplate. It's a great app. Used to be free but is now accessible only through a paid subscription, $2.99 monthly or$32.99 yearly.

Dont be fooled- its not free

I loved pepperplate and used it as my go to app for saving all my recipes. One year later i get an email that i will have to pay for a subsciription. Now I have to move alllll those recipes to a more reliable app. Disappointed and felt cheated that its not been made clear that the app is not really free forever.
Sont use it unless youre willing to move all your recipes one year later.
