The website NutritionandHealing.com promotes Dr. Glenn S. Rothfeld’s Nutrition & Healing newsletter and free book, “The Atlas of Natural Cures.”.  They claim that Dr. Rothfeld has a long history working in the top echelons of medicine and has 8 best selling books.

Inside this free ebook Dr. Rothfeld reveals the ICT protocol which is a formula for feeding your brain the proper nutrients to slow down mental decline.  The nutrient cocktail focuses on incorporating MCTs( Medium Chain Triglycerides) into your diet and the supporting nutrients necessary for optimal absorption of them.

Beyond Alzheimer's the book also includes natural remedies for fighting certain cancers based on specific medicinal mushrooms.  The idea being an alternative to traditional chemical treatments of cancers.

The book also includes a section on treating one of the most common ailments affecting people today, Arthritis.  The doctor claims to have natural treatments that will reduce pain and inflammation.

The Atlas of Natural Cures also addresses Diabetes and high cholesterol.  All in all the have solutions and advice to deal with many of the common sicknesses in a non invasive and natural matters.

Disappointing

The book took a long time to arrive (approx 3 weeks) - but it's the U.S, so I accepted the delay. The book itself is very cheaply produced in the thousands - but the content was the main interest - and that was by far and away the largest let down.

Considering the massive amount hype the web-video gave both the content & Dr Rothfeld - they set themselves up for a fall. Note to the marketing folks at 'Nutrition and Healing'. The golden rule of selling: Under-promise & over-deliver (not the other way around)!

By creating a video that was WAY too long, one that made the same points WAY too often - I expected the revelation of the second coming - performed by the same crew that parted the Red Sea (at least).
What I got was a cheap book - that was remarkably content free in parts (consult my doctor). Hey - wow - thanks for that! Other 'tips' are really a collection of things the internet (and many old wives) have been serving up a very long time.

If you want to know about natural remedies - 'The Fragrant Mind' by Valerie Worwood. If you want to know about your food 'Swallow this' by Joanna Blythman are MUCH better reads (cheaper too). I hope this is constructive feedback for the marketing team. Cut it shorter (MUCH shorter) with the hype and be more honest about the content.

WHY are scams like this allowed? I fell for The Unbreakable Brain scam, but my money was refunded. How are these people allowed to give false hope to people with critical health problems? They feed off the old people.....of which I am one.

Well put... I know the pattern, too. When the pitch keeps promising to share a secret (AT THE END OF THE FILABUSTER-speech) it tells me the seller is fishing for suckers. I don't know why they all so THICK as to use the same mold

If the info is so valuable, just sell the damn book on Amazon

If this guy is remotely legit and has information "big pharma" and the U.S. Government don't want out there, then he should distribute his information widely so it can be fairly evaluated by a larger portion of the population.

Did you ever notice that when investigating hysterical-sounding "cures" virtually ALL criticisms are unavailable on the Internet? I suspect that the "claim-maker" has manipulated domain names, etc. in order to obscure comments or research that are critical.

I don't believe Dr. Rothfeld is an actual person. Probably a phantom made up name. These people are playing on the hopes of innocent people just like Big Pharmacy. If these findings were true they would be selling the book for a reasonable price without any subscriptions. Real doctors would put the health of people before their wallets. You should be able to check it out from the library. It's sad what this world has come to.

It makes me ANGRY that I can't just buy Dr Rothfeld's "MIRACLE" book of Natural Cures but must instead sign up for the recurring (if I don't remember to cancel) monthly newsletter put out by the supposedly BRILLIANT & CARING Dr Rothfeld who wrote this MASSIVE book of natural cures I'm now not sure I should even want to read? Dr Rothfeld's "free" book offer is not the only pretty much IDENTICAL offer out there and this SADLY makes me question the authenticity of ANY of these "free book of AMAZING natural cures" video offers that "supposedly" come with 100% money back guarantees where if I decide I don't want to receive the "BRILLIANT" doctor's monthly newsletter I can cancel for a FULL REFUND and still keep my copy of the MUST HAVE 500 page book!!!

I bet all these people who are commenting negatively are the same people who work for those "Big Pharm. companies. I know he has the cure and I know you can't patent those natural cures. So there is no money in it for you. Wow! This is enlightment. Keep taking those nasty drugs. I know a man who is 96 years old and he does not take those horrid pharm. drugs and he walks 5-6 a day. Not taking those drugs is why he is healthy.

i have been trying to get the updated pages of "THE ATLAS FOR NATURAL CURES " I don't have any problem with Dr. Rothfeld, i was sent another book without the added pages from 504 to 526 and i requested them from a manager named Jeff at 1-800-223-2816 that take the orders for Dr. Rothfeld and he said he sent the book to me and it don't have any more than 504 pages and this has been going on since may 20,2016 , his group of people i spoke to said the same thing ,when you have one manager that is misinformed ,the people in his group get the same attitude and knowledge and this training hurts Dr. Rothfelds sales and stops people from getting life changing information ,i am a member of Dr. Rothfelds email and website and just renewed again but first i argued with Jeff and told him he was misinformed and a liar. i called back in and spoke to a rep in ireland and she found the promotion with the extra pages and ordered it for me. Thank you Dr. Rothfeld for your dedication and sacrifice in saving lives and helping people live out there lives to enjoy their golden years.

beware

I ran into one of these endless ads at the library a week or so ago, and looked all over for a way to cut the diatribe, and cut to the chase - it wasn't there, and i finally had to just cut out. so i checked the search for the book and found this site. it occurs to me these people are not so much interested in gaining your petty $$ for a book they won't let you buy or pay shipping on, as some other scam/phish related purpose, by keeping you on the internet connection for ulterior far greater gain. Like keeping kidnappers on the line til they can get your location; only the internet may get a lot more information in that amount of time.

I was suckered once--by Kevin Trudeau many years ago. He had the ability to say absolutely nothing in hundreds of pages. I learned how to do that in college for term papers but could only get about 20 pages or so. That being said I am not going for a repeat of that experience.

Disappointed

I have to agree with most of the above comments. Clearly, like everyone Dr rothfeld needs to make a living ... I have no problem with that. It appears his years of experience and research (for which I'm sure he's been handsomely paid ... one could argue that much of the financial benefit from sharing that info should go to those who paid him) have given him an immense degree and insight into the human body - how it works and what causes disease. However we are required to subscribe to his newsletter BEFORE we get to read the book and find out whether the newsletter is worth subscribing to. Maybe what is contained in the book would be repeated in the newsletter? Or vice versa. As someone said, if he were truly altruistic why not share the good news for free? If he is not, why claim to be? Why not charge a reasonable amount for his book, comparable with other books of its kind, and at the end of the book invite readers to subscribe? And why on earth not simply give all the info in the video in written form so we can peruse it quickly. It may be a very good deal but the way it's presented and provided smacks very strongly of hype. And if you have to hype up a product, it's very likely to be too good to be true.

Unsure

I was offered this as a "free book". Okay, fine - if you send it, I'll read it and see what I think. BUT it expects me to listen to someone carry on bloody well nigh on forever about what's supposedly IN the book without giving me the only details I want - how to get the book. If you're offering me a free book on ANY topic, please just give me a place to order it and be done with it. If it needs all this song and dance, I can only question its veracity, and that of the person(s) pushing it. Yes, I would like to read the book and make up my own mind. No, I do NOT want to listen to the tripe. After reading the book I will happily give you an honest review, but I've turned my back on far more than one "free" offer because the BS is over the top. A free book should be exactly that - free, no strings attached. No "free if...", no long, drawn out gab session. Just send me the book - I'll decide for myself whether it's of value.

Nellie, it would appear that you need the book. If you lack the mental wherewithal to simply "X" out of the page, realizing that the readable version then becomes available by selecting "stay on this page," you are in tremendous need of the resource.

I totally agree. I am a man in my 50's that suffers from chronic lower back pain and am willing to buy, try, eat, chew, digest about anything that will get me off the opioids I've been taking for over ten years. I've been ripped off so many times from all these snake oils that do absolutely nothing for my pain. I am now afraid to give out any credit card numbers without at least attempting to search reviews on new products. I just don't buy the fact that this guy can cure cancer, diabetes, alzheimers, blood pressure, etc..... Does anyone know of anything that actually works without getting ripped off???

January 29, 2018

Tom, I've watched a few of Dr Bergman ( think his first name is John)'s videos on youtube and find his approach to every subject he's spoken on to be spot on!!! He's a chiropractor and seems to be a sensnibile person. I injured my lower back a few times 40 and 50 yrs ago and am still able to live reasonably pain free due to good chiropractic treatment. Find yourself one who uses stretching and pressure point methods. I find them to be the best - I don't go to guys who just manipulate the spine.

I would prefer buy the book for a sensible cover price.

I would prefer buy the book for a sensible cover price. Then if I liked the book I would subscribe to the newsletter for more good stuff. if I found it good. The problem is that this way around milks the customer of cash.. You pay for the subscription then forget to cancel it or have to go through plenty of hard work to cancel and get a refund. Maybe if you forget, you also get stung for the auto-renew.. Perhaps yo think its not worth the bother of canceling. What it boils down to is that a marketing operation ensures they first get your money.. then you have to decided whether what they promise is worth it. if not YOU have to do the work to get your money back. That is the hard commercial times we live in.. very few operations provide genuine generosity and in some ways who can blame them for being commercial and not a charity. The annoying part is that modern 'marketing' is no longer about offering a genuine solution to a customer problem: It is about meeting sales targets by getting 'punters' to part with more of their money than they really need to part with, while still just about staying on the legal side of telling actual lies.

I agree I just ordered the package for $37.00 US and hope I don't get dinged any more. I just want the book after listening to an hour video. My wife and I am almost 80 and thought it might be worth it, I neglect buying a lot of things and for the very same reason stop because the after purchase pitches to get you to purchase more. Hope I am not tricked into paying more, do not have extra cash at our age. Always have problems in finding a way to cancel your purchase and refund if you decide to. Hoping I enjoy the book and not regret my decision. md

If I didn't like the free deal, I could get my card company to, at least, process a call back against one or two months of subscription ( the amount of time it would take to read the book and two months of newsletter) On the other hand, if I just bought the book, I would have less time to read it and process a refund if I did not like the book OR risk smoking $155 +. $74 for a FREE book - No way!!!

I'm 52 years old. So now I have to wait 3 more years before I can pay $37 (the Seniors rate) to get these miracle cures? I agree that the cures are likely true - I know the flu shot is very toxic, and that megadoses of vitamin C (C-22) can cure cancer - so I'm pretty sure the others work as well. But I object to being held hostage for an hour to discover that I have to pay $74 for a supposedly FREE book!!!!

Also the video said that Emperor Salt from China cures Diabates?? Because it works better than Metformin? Well 2 things i gotta say - Number 1 - I cant find anything specific about Emperor salt, Not online. What colour is it anyway? and Number 2 - this salt, if it works, would only work on Diabetes Type 2.. Metformin is usually only given to Type 2 patients. Now since 90% of Diabetes patients have Type 2, it makes sense to concentrate on the bigger portion right? But what about the remaining 10% of Diabetes patients who have Type 1 (previously called Juvenile Diabetes)? Their pancreases are destroyed, No amount of any salt is going to fix that up!!! So in one respect they dont tell the WHOLE truth!!! Just like Big Pharma.

More CONFUSED than ever...

I watched/listened to in its entirety the FASCINATING to me video featuring the "supposed" wisdom/knowledge of Dr Glenn Rothfeld and his lifetime work of discovering NATURAL CURES to treat our worst diseases and also watched part of an eerily similar video featuring the "supposed" wisdom/knowledge of Dr Mark Stengler and HIS lifetime work of discovering NATURAL CURES to treat our worst diseases: ***Both videos feature a "free" 500+ page book of these unreal, MIRACLE, NATURAL CURES discovered via numerous years of painstaking research conducted by each of the aforementioned doctors. I would bet that there are even more of these types of videos singing the praises of completely different but equally BRILLIANT, non mainstream, doctors who will give you "free copies" of their AMAZING books of natural cures in exchange for you agreeing to try out their monthly newsletters risk free by paying UPFRONT $74 (1/2 price if you are 55 or older) for 12 issues. So, my question revolves around the desire to know which (if any) of these doctors are the "real deal" and actually have newsletters worth subscribing to in order to get their "can't live without" free books of MIRACLE NATURAL CURES? (I believe there are LOADS of lifesaving NATURAL CURES out there but the undeniable similarities between the "too good to be true" OFFERS being presented by the 2 doctors mentioned above who are BOTH "supposedly" top researches in the field of natural cures and medicine causes me to be little more than extremely SUSPICIOUS and SADLY wondering if I'm simply being SCAMMED?

It's still all about money not altruism!

As useful as the video appears to present the book, everything still boils down to shrew marketing and profit like the corporations they accuse of deception for greed. Nothing wrong with that except that it adopts a convoluted path and makes one doubt the motive.

Though i want the book, i'm rather skeptical!

Free is never free in this greedy society. You subscribe for one year then reading the fine print you discovered you've signed up for the next year and every year after that until you unsescribe. That's deception of the highest order. It's like street drug pushers giving out "Free" samples to create life long customers! It's sad because the info this company puts out is very sound health info. Don't call it free when in reality it is not. You embarras yourselves!

I watched TWO unbelievably similar videos: The NATURAL CURES & "free books" discussed in BOTH VIDEOS all sound wonderful, but the way these types of videos are designed to HOOK YOU and make you believe that whichever natural health doctor is being featured in that particular video you happen to be listening to is the ABSOLUTE BEST in his field "Naturally" makes me wonder? Due to the existence of more than one of these videos featuring more than one "one of a kind" natural health doctor I understandably can't help but to question the integrity and intentions of these "supposedly" WONDERFUL, Natural Health doctors whose only goal is to Save humanity from BIG PHARMA & EXPOSE THE TRUTH TO THE WORLD!!!

everything is about money. anyone who expects something for nothing not only is fooling themselves, but they are actually falling into the category of the people who think the world owes them something. a worker is worthy of their hire. anyone who puts their lifetime work into a book is worth paying.

the fact is that the book is a compilation of all of the posts you will read on his site. it is what is known in marketing as a "loss leader" - a product given away or sold at a low price to get you to subscribe or buy something else. that is simply how marketing works.

to call the book a scam is really unfair. to expect marketing to be altruistic is also unfair. you certainly don't mind if a bank gives you a toaster or a gift card for signing up. you don't mind when you get a nice bag from AARP for subbing. Nor would you complain if walmart offered an incentive to buy- like a half off sale or a two for one or even market basket and other grocery stores with big sales on one product only if you buy $10 of other groceries.

I have seen the coupons that offer your milk for free if you are buying bread and eggs- or other such offers. people love them. so why should information be any different?

and there is the right to cancel. if i decide to cancel instead of getting all 12 months, i will simply write to the guy who sent me the confirmation email

I became impatient too with the video. When you make promises of all these cures, it is "snake oily" to me. But that said, there might be that one cure for you. I believe in Divine Guidance, so if you find yourself here, there might be something for you. We all have to learn the art of discriminaton, and no better place to learn than on the internet! I try not to label things "fake news" but we do have to be at least cautious. I am a believer in natural remedies and alternative therapies. There are lots of books offering similar cures for just about everything. If life were that easy? I did not purchase this book, but I am sure there is good info to be learned. But you are still going to have to make choices and be persistent and carry through --- and that is the hard part.

Many of the products he recommends in his vidoes have 'false' names. If you check online you can often discover the real names. Naturally, he does this deliberately so you will buy into his newsletter. Berberine, Lion's Mane and other items are listed with false names. Youcan find most of them if you search carefully on Amazon for the reason they are recommended.

The Cures are real

Similar science behind the Bullet proof coffee phenomenon. I was interest in the idea that Alzheimer is caused by a virus. Have been working step 1 and have improved over the past 2 months. MCT oil and Turmeric have been listed as treatments for many of the American ailments us Boomers are struggling with. I am a believer. The book alone is worth the 37.

Wait a Minute Here.....These totally neg reviews are overkill

I understand people are concerned about being scammed. I also
understand the points that were repeatedly made, hopefully by
multiple real people.
I hope these negative reviews were not all concocted.
At any rate, I have researched Dr Rothfeld, his clinic in Waltham
MA, and his newsletter.

The older issues in the archives were written by a
Dr. Wright, who was an MD who pioneered starting in about 1973 researching nutrition and more natural approaches to illness and prevention by visiting the library in Seattle. He graduated from Harvard with his BA and graduated from medical school at, I think
if I recall, U of Michigan. In 1975 opened his own clinic in Tacoma WA.

So if you were to pay for a membership to the journal of Dr
Feldman, at some point (I think around 2007 but I'd have to
check again to be certain) the author is now this Dr Wright
instead. I don't know whether Dr. Feldman purchased the website and
company that Dr Wright originally founded, but it looks
legit As far as I know, this is a legit company.

I joined as a senior for a six month and paid 19.00. They sent
me the book in the mail, which I have yet to read but it
looks interesting. As a member I also have access to all the archives so today I started to look through them. They are interesting.
I'm not sure whether they are worth 19.00 for six months,
at this point, and if you are not a senior, that would be expensive.
I think you could find much of the info for free online by searching.
But I think Dr Feldman is legitmite, as was Dr Wright,
and I do recommend searching the alternative health field
even though it's annoying in that there are people out there
who only want money or promise miracle cures.

Actually Dr Feldman is the one who authored a breakthrough course at Tufts Medical School on Alternative Medicine. So he knows
something about it.
The field of medicine is very complex and there are minefields
on both sides, both alternative and traditional.

The point here, is that the method or info ad that the company
is choosing to use with the very long message is probably
up to debate. Whether you want to spend that much money
for only a newsletter is up to debate, especially now with so much
free info on the internet. Also the co puts you on auto renewal
which I object to. Make sure if you pay, you call them immediately and ask them to take you OFF the auto renewal.

This is a real company, real doctors, not all bad but their method
of advertising and the auto renewal feature are not good ethics
in my opinion. Not saying they are doing anything wrong or illegal, but not the highest and best to put people on auto renewal if they
don't cancel and charge this much for a monthly journal....however
the info itself and the people seem to be legit.

The lengthy "private videos" are ad nauseam that say "...we'll tell you more in just a few minutes." An hour later...they still yak on.

March 14, 2017

Jana, seriously. You are the one with no clue. She actually represented this group truthfully. The newsgroup actually was owned by a Dr Wright. His newsletters had good info, but he steered the consumer to his own supplement sources. There seem to be lots of ads in his newsletters, but an experienced natural health consumer knows how to extract the good info from the sales pitch. This person took lots of time to write down this info. You appear to be a spoiled, intellectually lazy ingrate.

June 29, 2017

Timothy E, all human beings are fallible and not one of us does everything right, including you. Your comment reflects brittle legalism, an unhealthy perfectionism, a critical spirit, and the destructive inflexibility that is inevitable when we fail to maintain a balanced perspective. Not everything in life is black or white, and we fail in both wisdom and humility when we act as if it is. By your own reasoning you should not be trusted since you have not done everything right and--worse, are apparently blind to your own imperfections.

It seems as if the world has to feel that trying to market and sell products is a crime. This man is a legitimate doctor with a practice in MA. The book IS free, after you meet the criteria. (Would it be better if they, for example, offered free cigarettes to all and then shipped them to elementary-school aged children?) I don't like the advertising of phone sex lines, but it's legal and I'm an adult so I ignore it.

Lots of good information I might never have found.

As a senior I got the book for $37. There's lots of good stuff in it, I just can't believe they didn't give an index!!!!!!

I wrote to them about their interminable "short" videos and they wrote that you can back out of it, and get the message "Stay on page or leave page". So if you hit stay, then you can get it all as a transcript you can skim as fast as you want. Just wish they'd said that in the beginning.

Looking forward

I see people complaining about paying $74 for a year subscription, but don't they give you a Money Back Guarantee if you're not satisfied with what you receive? At least, it's cheaper than the current health insurance most of us have to pay monthly. Anyway, I made the order and I'm hoping to receive what they promise. I will give a book review once I receive them.

P/s: for people who cannot access to the information in the book because somehow they cannot ship it to your countries, the lady in the video did say we are free to share copies of the book, I can scan the pages you need (not all of them please) then send you an email with attached PDF files. Just email me first at trankhaivan14368@gmail.com.

Not one person (including me) who posted a comment out here actually received and read "The Atlas of Natural Cures". SCIENTIST CURES CANCER, BUT NO ONE TAKES NOTICE.....
Sun, 15 May 2011 17:05 UTC
Canadian researchers find a simple cure for cancer, but major pharmaceutical companies are not interested.

Researchers at the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, Canada have cured cancer last week, yet there is a little ripple in the news or in TV. It is a simple technique using very basic drug. The method employs dichloroacetate, which is currently used to treat metabolic disorders. So, there is no concern of side effects or about their long term effects.

This drug doesn't require a patent, so anyone can employ it widely and cheaply compared to the costly cancer drugs produced by major pharmaceutical companies.

Canadian scientists tested this dichloroacetate (DCA) on human's cells; it killed lung, breast and brain cancer cells and left the healthy cells alone. It was tested on Rats inflicted with severe tumors; their cells shrank when they were fed with water supplemented with DCA. The drug is widely available and the technique is easy to use, why the major drug companies are not involved? Or the Media interested in this find?

In human bodies there is a natural cancer fighting human cell, the mitochondria, but they need to be triggered to be effective. Scientists used to think that these mitochondria cells were damaged and thus ineffective against cancer. So they used to focus on glycolysis, which is less effective in curing cancer and more wasteful. The drug manufacturers focused on this glycolysis method to fight cancer. This DCA on the other hand doesn't rely on glycolysis instead on mitochondria; it triggers the mitochondria which in turn fights the cancer cells.

The side effect of this is it also reactivates a process called apoptosis. You see, mitochondria contain an all-too-important self-destruct button that can't be pressed in cancer cells. Without it, tumors grow larger as cells refuse to be extinguished. Fully functioning mitochondria, thanks to DCA, can once again die.

With glycolysis turned off, the body produces less lactic acid, so the bad tissue around cancer cells doesn't break down and seed new tumors.Pharmaceutical companies are not investing in this research because DCA method cannot be patented, without a patent they can't make money, like they are doing now with their AIDS Patent. Since the pharmaceutical companies won't develop this, the article says other independent laboratories should start producing this drug and do more research to confirm all the above findings and produce drugs. All the groundwork can be done in collaboration with the Universities, who will be glad to assist in such research and can develop an effective drug for curing cancer.

You can access the original research for this cancer here.

This article wants to raise awareness for this study, hope some independent companies and small startup will pick up this idea and produce these drugs, because the big companies won't touch it for a long time. our sham cancer charities and their operators allegedly bilked more than $187 million from consumers, telling donors their money would help cancer patients but instead spending it on themselves.

Cancer Fund of America (CFA), Cancer Support Services (CSS), Children's Cancer Fund of America (CCFOA) and The Breast Cancer Society (BCS) are named in a federal lawsuit, the Federal Trade Commission and law enforcers from all 50 states said on Tuesday.

"Some said they would send children with cancer to Disney World. In this case, they used money to send themselves to Disney World,"

Honda1
April 26, 2017

Scientists are confirming that the Pharmaceutical companies are not making any progress nor do they want to, with all the toxins we are bombarded with and all the junk food the cancer pandemic will continue unless the people change their eating habits, the cancer cure clinics all use whole foods and herbs to effect complete cures, chemotherapy and radiotherapy at best buy time, can kill the tumour, but also excite the stem cells to start it all over again, the stem cells are the target all the scientists know this but if the pharmacologist's effect a cure their whole industry collapses, it is outrageous what is going on they are killing people in their thousands with Chemo & Radio therapy destroying their immune system's, so often it is not the cancer killing them it's a myriad of other infections that a healthy immune system would destroy if it was not for the chemo/radio having compromised.it.

RIGHT ON I AM INTERESTED IN NATURAL CURES BUT 45 MINUTES AND VIDEOS JUST TO END UP WITH A NEWSLETTER IS TOO MUCH FOR A BOOK OR TWO BOOKS. I WOULD RATHER BUY THE BOOK WITH A SOLID FREE REFUND AND THEN IF I TRIED SOME OF HIS CURES AND THE ACTUALLY WORKED THEN I WOULD LIKE TO SIGN UP FOR HIS NEWSLETTERS FOR A SMALL FEE. BUT IT ALSO SEEMS THAT MOST OF THESE CURES ALSO ADD THAT YOU HAVE TO EAT THIS AND THAT AND DON'T EVER EAT THIS OR THAT, SO HOW DO I KNOW THIS SALT IS THE REAL CURE???????

Larry C
March 08, 2019

As many have responded to the manner this newsletter has promoted itself with a long winded video that goes on seemingly endlessly. This is the model that most, if not all, newsletters are marketed these days. It's maddening, but it's the formula used.. I think they have figured out that the human response is that many will buy the subscription just to get the answers to things they were promised after investing so much time.
DISGUSTING, but that is the model used by the industry. Many now will give you an option, after a little while, to continue with the video or read the pitch instead (or you can force the option if you put the pointer up to web page title as if to click it off) . This way, if you choose to read the script, you can fast forward to the end part where they offer you more free stuff and show you the price of the subscription choices,THIS WAY YOU CAN SHORT CUT THEIR TEDIOUS VIDEO.
They are not through with you even if you subscribe. Then, before they show you a receipt for the subscription you signed up for, they will make you an offer for a lifetime subscription or various quantities of bottles of product or books. Sometimes they will have 4 or 5 different offers you can take or reject before you see your purchase receipt. "Caveat Emptor"
