you people

I read this all. I'm surprised that so many were negative but not when one realizes that people would rather boo and hiss than appreciate concepts. One-the book is worth having for people who want to learnn and then research even more through the internet(google or WEB-MD) for a start. Two- To have it free is to join for ANY dollar amount and then cancel. Three- Of course this is advertising. Selling at a profit is the World's way-or you die of hunger. If you have a job you're selling yourself-at any level. Four-If the receipt is worth the fee-do it. All of you who believe that $37 or $19 is a lot , rethink. I was charged $3.25 for a glass of iced tea at lunch ( a teabag, water, placed in the refrigerator). All the information received is hundreds if not thousands of hours of input.Five-go to a Dr's office and see what 3 minutes of his/her time is charged out at. Do you earn $500 to $1000 per hour? And you think this is costly? Learn ONE good thing and this can be a blessing.

When you ordered iced tea, you don't authorize them to do automatic glass refills and charge you again and again, and you don't have to phone in to a help desk to have your extra iced tea ordering cancelled.

If you place your payment on a National credit card and have trouble canceling the subscription you can call the Card company and stop all payments to the Offending Dr.ofice. Cancel the card and getting a new card number for it is a positive way to stop the subscription I do not believe you

Testimonials from unknowns might as well be made up because untraceable. Lengthy ramblings not related DIRECTLY to lead in hooks smack of mental entrainment common to sales. Not encouraging. If you posit then back it up, do not keep us hanging while mesmerizing without direct backup of original hook. It only justified continued cynicism. Disclaimer of materials from other providers as not approved by Dr. Rothfeld gives one pause as to legitimacy. If you cannot vouch for it, why is it next to your name? It would appear that America has finally been blessed with the genius of yet another 'Magic Potion Barker'. The unfortunate consequence of such a ruse is the effect it will have on the family members who so desperately wish for a cure for their loved ones. How do we expose these charlatans without government intervention and liberal democrats, in particular..?

I must say that I find the formula for all of these things terminally tiresome. I can't bear the long wait while they plod through all the problems, all the good things the good doctor is doing, all the "they're going to shut this site down' stuff or "doctors won't tell the truth to you because they'll lose their licence or be assassinated" stuff. If they would reduce the splab to four minutes and get to the point, I'd be prepared to listen; but the sight of those guys setting up for the long haul of blabbing condescendingly on and on and on, is enough to make me switch off immediately. I think they realise this because they now produce a printed version quite quickly, though it's only marginally less painful.
For goodness sake, get a short, clean, sales pitch and dump this endless condescending blabber! Ain't nobody got time for that!
And, PLEASE just say upfront: We ONLY send this shit to people in the USA. Not Canada or South Africa or anywhere else, though we'll take your money and send the online "newsletter" to spam you. I've paid for a book in South Africa and never seen it, though I think I got the crappy newsletter.

The FDA has controlled the medical profession and medical schools for Years.. I have had retired DR.s tell me the continuing education course that is required are conducted by the Pharma industries. The medical schools do not teach Nutrition and I was told by a dr. that they had one hour class per week on it once and it was Monday Morning when most students skipped it . A biochemist knows more than any Medical; dr. about the Nutritional needs of the body

So many people expect it to be free

I wrote this earlier in a reply and am saying it again because i am sure people won't search through stuff for a reply. i am in the process of reading it and so far i like it a lot.

that said:
everything is about money. anyone who expects something for nothing not only is fooling themselves, but they are actually falling into the category of the people who think the world owes them something. a worker is worthy of their hire. anyone who puts their lifetime work into a book is worth paying.

the fact is that the book is a compilation of all of the posts you will read on his site. it is what is known in marketing as a "loss leader" - a product given away or sold at a low price to get you to subscribe or buy something else. that is simply how marketing works.

to call the book a scam is really unfair. to expect marketing to be altruistic is also unfair. you certainly don't mind if a bank gives you a toaster or a gift card for signing up. you don't mind when you get a nice bag from AARP for subbing. Nor would you complain if walmart offered an incentive to buy- like a half off sale or a two for one or even market basket and other grocery stores with big sales on one product only if you buy $10 of other groceries.

I have seen the coupons that offer your milk for free if you are buying bread and eggs- or other such offers. people love them. so why should information be any different?

and there is the right to cancel. if i decide to cancel instead of getting all 12 months, i will simply write to the guy who sent me the confirmation email

also: there actually is a way to get it without listening at all. they just didn't send that in our emails because a marketing firm is doing the marketing on this. Someone named Troy Sawyer answers you and brings you to a website he actually admins. it is filled with every-day common suggestions about things like coconut oil and apple cider vinegar- which we all know about if we research holistic health at all.

he has a facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Dr-Glenn-Rothfelds-Nutrition-Healing-853057521470753/

and to the person who said he went to prison for scams - absolutely not. no he never did. there have been others well known to have done that but not him.

in fact at his clinic he got rave reviews:

$5 or $10 for the book sounds reasonable . A free book with a subscription fee of $74 or $37 is beyond ridiculous. That subscription fee gives you what, email newsletter that you should be getting for free from the get-go for subscribing. Now a days, bloggers will send you free email newsletters and even give subscribers freebies just for subscribing to their email list. "So many people expect it to be free", nice try on your review but it doesn't work in the real world. A lot of things you mentioned can be rebuttal. The website you link the readers to, received rave reviews from fictitious people who got paid to do so. Bread and eggs don't cost that much. At least not the outrageous $74 or $37. No one said the free book was a scam. The reviewers said the subscription was a scam. The free book was actually not "free". The word free was only a sales pitch. Atlas for Natural cures is jam packed with information that you can get for free through Google. You can get free stuff by doing something for it, NOT paying something for it. Sending an email back to the original sender to cancel your subscription is not easy. Sometimes you really have to fight the whole nine yards to get your money back. So far, every reviewer thinks this whole shabang with the atlas of natural cures is a scam except for yourself because either you are that Doctor himself, OR you got paid to write this obnoxious review.

Well since you seem to know - WHAT is the mineral in water - Lithia Spring in Georgia ... blah blah blah - why doesn't she ever just SAY what the great natural element is that helps against Alzheimers - I watched too much of this before realizing she was NEVER going to answer it. Everyone wants something free. Have you noticed how much just the cost of shipping is lately? Add that to paper and printing costs. The book is still inexpensive. As well, if you are an open minded person who believes in alternative medicine and having choices, this book is a wonderful addition to your alternative library. Buying the news letter also helps pinpoint those who simply want something FREE. It's an easy choice, if you want something for nothing I doubt you would read the information in the book anyway. Sometimes it takes bad health to make someone appreciate publications like this one. Then $37.00 sounds pretty petty. It's an easy solution. Don't buy the book.

The book is not inexpensive. They demand you pay 75 dollars for a newsletter, and then they make it extremely difficult for you to cancel, KNOWING that many of the people who will be interested in getting this book already have failing memories and difficulty concentrating. It is a deliberately dishonest practice. If the thing was worth having, he would sell it the usual way. I might well have paid 37.00 for it, if he hadn't chosen to pull this shady BS.

I believe he went to prison for his scams...

Fyuri
September 20, 2016

actually, i have spent the past 2 hours researching him. not once did i ever find mention of him going to prison for anything. people attending his clinic, while not impressed with his staff and the fact that he, like so many clinics today, doesn't accept medicare, gave rave reviews on him.

you are aware that there are libel laws for defamation right? please make sure you have the facts to back yourself up before saying such things.

while personal opinions about the information in the book may vary, saying he went to prison for scamming seems to not be proven.

i will reserve judgement on the book itself until after i actually read it and research it more.

Nobody wants anything for free. But when someone promises you to watch a video that takes almost an hour promising to cure the incurable, and then trying delivering nothing in the end is a scam preying on very sick people. If you're defending this scam by claiming paying $37 is petty, then I strongly believe you are part of the scam. Paying $37 is a lot of money for a crock of shit, especially when you were duped into watching an hour long video promising to pay nothing.

Ann, don't hold your breath! I have been advised that the book Atlas of Natural Cures CANNOT BE SHIPPED TO AUSTRALIA, AUSTRIA, GERMANY AND URUGUAY. If you try to subscribe to the newsletter which includes getting the atlas free, you will find that Australia is not listed! I queried this but the answer was not really credible

John
August 10, 2016

Not sure if the above is true - yes Australia is overlooked on the first page but if you click to close the page then the usual second chance option comes up which then lists Australia. Unfortunately none of the comments are from anyone who has received to book so that an informed decision can be made whether to purchase or not... I did sign up to something similar years ago and the book I received had some very interesting and useful information. The newsletters also had good information but in some instances the products they advocated could not be sent to Australia so not entirely useful....... Also I am surprised that many of the commenters here actually sit and listen to the spiel which goes on for some time. When it starts, just close then stay on the page so you can skim through the text - Will only take you a few minutes rather than sitting there for ages - cheers.

There are more videos out there just like the Glen Rothfeld Video=SCAM ALERT?

Dr Glenn Rothfeld's 500+ page "free" book is called "The Atlas of Natural Cures" and Dr Mark Stengler's 500+ page "free" book is called "Natural Healing Encyclopedia." Each of the aforementioned "free" books requires you to purchase UPFRONT a year subscription to the MUST HAVE newsletter each of these "supposedly" AMAZING Natural Health doctors releases each month. (Even though I want to believe these AMAZING, "natural cures" actually exist, due to the INSISTENCE of the person talking in each of the videos I listened to that it is ONLY this particular doctor featured in this particular video who has the "inside info" on all of these INCREDIBLE NATURAL CURES, I just can't help but to think it's all a SCAM...)
